The Scar Test

“I came to England, scarred for life”

“They told me I was dangerous”

“You need to be strong inside or you will die there”

The Scar Test – 2015

The Scar Test will be touring in 2017, visit this page for more information about the tour.

The Scar Test is Untold Art’s second production and was first performed in 2015.

A strong ensemble of actors play characters based on verbatim interviews.

Using different languages, physical theatre and humour ‘Scar Test’ explores a time you may know but a place that you may not.

Following our first performances there was a free post-show discussion about the political situation behind the play with guest panellists.

Ticket proceeds were donated to the Yarslwood Befrienders charity.

Scenes from The Scar Test were filmed for the BBC and featured on The Victoria Derbyshire Show on BBC2 and BBC News on Friday 28th August 2015. Watch the film, made by Catrin Nye and Benjamin Barfoot, below.
